A truck carrying 460 bee hives driving down Interstate-95 in Delaware overturned, releasing a swarm of anywhere from 16 TO 20 MILLION BEES onto the highway.
This is my nightmare. I think that this is probably everyone’s nightmare.
The truck was taking the bees from Florida to Maine, for some reason, when it overturned, releasing the millions of bees onto the highway. The driver and passenger were taken to a nearby hospital, where it was revealed that they each suffered between 50-100 bee stings. Well, duh. I mean, they’re pissed. They were probably carsick. I imagine it went down like this:
The highway was shut down for 7 hours as state police, firefighters and bee experts worked to disperse the bees. The state had an emergency plan for a massive bee swarm, who knew? I’m picturing the “Bee Experts” as the “Men In Black”, but with big yellow stripes on their suits and beekeeper masks.

Sounds like the driver may have been a little buzzed.
That type of bee-havior is frowned upon in the trucking industry.
I read the title of the article as “beers” and it changed the entire article for me
I’d bee so pissed.
