Set your internets to OUTRAGE. Screenshots of Tinder prompting users to start paying for swipes have started popping up on the web, mostly on the Tinder subreddit. With Tinder set to roll out Tinder Plus, a paid service that allows you to undo swipes, it looks like they are now at least testing out a model that requires users to pay for unlimited swipes.
You want evidence? We’ve got evidence:
A paid Tinder service was only a matter of time. TechCrunch has confirmed that they are in fact testing this model in certain markets. Free market forever, baby. However, part of Tinder’s allure to me and the rest of my hookup generation cohorts was the ability to literally swipe until there was no one left within a 100 mile radius who may have wanted to meet up at a bar at 1 a.m. and then engage in intercourse grab coffee.
I’ve been off Tinder for nearly a year now, but I used to be DEEP in the Tinder game. I used to chat up babes on the reg. I don’t know if it’d be worth a few bucks, but I think there are enough desperate and horny people out there who will be willing to pony up for Tinder Plus. So, what does this mean for Tinder’s future? Would you pay for swipes?.

There’s now a 0% chance that I’ll ever get a match again. No way girls are gonna pay for anything in the dating world.

Maybe this will weed out those chicks who write “not looking for anything but new friends,” “just curious to see what’s out there” and “OMG my friends made me do this, they’re so weird LOL” on their bios.
I’d rather it weed out the single mothers and “I don’t hook up” girls.
As much as I wished it weren’t true, I don’t think there’s any way to get rid of single moms on Tinder. Dating sites are the perfect hunting ground for those succubi.
