We have hurricane fever down here in Texas. Shouts to all our people in Harvey’s path, especially those on the coast. Stay safe out there, please. This storm is angry. Austin isn’t in Harvey’s direct path but we’re preparing for all the rain. This city doesn’t drain for shit, so everyone’s throwing on their puddle jumpers all weekend in case of flooding.
I don’t feel good about my excitement for extreme weather heading my way, because obviously Harvey is going to fuck a lot of people’s shit up, but I’m sort of into it. I know I’d be singing a different tune if I lived on the coast, though. But still, I have hurricane fever.

Anyone else super hungover today?
Houston survived night one of Harvey. Weather persons saying another foot or so of rain today. Power and cable remain on for now so all is well.

Fiance is gone so I’m going to be riding the hurricane out with my brother, the dogs, and several cases of beer and water. It’s also my birthday so Hurricane Harvey and I are not on the best terms right now seeing as my weekend is ruined. Thinking about buying a truck full of water and then selling it above market value to all the people that didn’t prepare
Headed to Wrigleyville for the fight. Hopefully see Duda and roast him while I’m there. Gonna play Edward 40 hands at Houndstooth tonight if anyone wants to get in on that action.
Fantasy draft and McGregor/Mayweather fight in the same night. Lots of beer, wings, pizza, and shit talking will be had
Leaving for Vegas in about 4 hours for the fight. Gone be a wild weekend for sure. Return flight lands 7 am Monday morning then will head straight to the office. Sunday Scaries will roll right into Monday morning Scaries. Can’t wait.

Having people over for the Mayweather/McGregor fight. Hopefully by the time it starts we’re all nice and buzzed so that I’m not as annoyed at wasting $100 on it.

Floyd’s only had one fight go less than 10 rounds in the last decade so we should be good.

If Harvey stops me from watching the GoT finale, I’ll be so upset. The bright side is, if cell service is spotty, I won’t see any spoilers. I definitely should have bought more snacks though. H-town PGPers, stay safe out there! With enough chips and salsa in the pantry we’ll survive.
I bought so many snacks and other things I never buy. And 2 bottles of bubbly and 3 of red. Just in case.
I turn 30 next week so I’ll be enjoying the last few days in my 20’s drinking myself stupid.
