There are pivotal moments in life. The first time hair grows out of somewhere other than your head, the realization that you need to start using deodorant, high school graduation, getting into college, college graduation, finding “the one” (whatever that means), and… getting your first job.
In a job market that makes you wonder why you spent $100,000 on school in the first place, getting a job might be the most anxiety-inducing cloud that hovers over your head while trudging through your 20s. And in a world filled with social media bragging about engagements and marriages, one girl took to Facebook to mock it all by posting mocking photos of what looks like an engagement – but is actually her with her job offer.
In a world where finding the job you want seems harder than finding the one you love, you almost have to respect what Benita’s doing. If anything, it’s a middle finger to those barf-worthy engagement photos we’ve all grown to hate. .
