As much as I love drinking wine, buying it is an entirely different story. Unless there’s something I’m celebrating, I tend to stick to bottles under $10, but as we all know, that’s when things get dangerous. For ten bucks you can certainly get a decent bottle of vino… but you can also end up with a product you’d almost rather pour down the sink than pollute your body with. After spending half an hour in the wine aisle debating whether or not it’s worth it to try something new, you resignedly pick up the $8 bottle you always go with, knowing that even though it’s only okay, at least it won’t be a terrible pick.
However, thanks to a pair of amazing new smartphone apps, you’ll easily be able to pick out a $6 bottle of wine that tastes almost as good as one that would break the bank. Delectable and Banquet are two apps for wine lovers created by Antonio Galloni that are here to help us figure out how to get delicious wine on the cheap.
When you open Delectable in the store, you can use your phone’s camera to scan wine labels and get reviews from expert sommeliers and everyday users alike. If you’re not seeing anything you like, don’t worry – Delectable has over a million alcoholic products in their database, so you can easily search around to find something you like. Of course, what if the wine you find isn’t in your grocery store’s wine aisle? No worries – just open Banquet and this app will tell you the closest retailer that sells the wine you want to purchase.
This, my friends, is absolutely a game changer. No more throwing away $9 on a crappy bottle of wine – with a quick scan of a label, you’ll immediately be able to tell whether or not a bottle of vino is worth its price tag. My only fear? That this app will work too well and I’ll blow my budget on an abundance of new wines. .

But they still haven’t made an app that will help me find my DAD!!!!
Wanna know where you can get free wine and be sanctified by me? Mass. Most churches do it everyday. You’re welcome.
Can’t you just turn water into free wine for us whenever we ask?
I only do that for special people, that being my mother and any girl who gets lucky enough to date me.
Boone’s Farm Strawberry is always a safe choice for cheap wine.
I usually just grab whatever looks interesting and is under $10. Easy enough for me!
Big fan of cool labels
Whenever I’m in the mood for some cheap wine I call upon my buddy Charles Shaw and we chill all night.
But I don’t want cheap wine. I’m not a peasant.
Sup?
That’s what I like to hear!
Has it been that long? 😉
No, but if you’d like to make it zero days holler
Smooth.
Good for you!!!
