It’s difficult to put into words what Leicester City has done by winning the 2015/16 Barclays Premier League title. In a sport dominated by big money clubs, it’s unfathomable for a team that was in last place in April of 2015 to somehow win the title this year. It’s not the biggest upset in soccer — it’s probably the biggest upset in any sport ever.
So for good reason, the Leicester City players went absolutely nuts when the whistle blew during the Chelsea versus Spurs game which mathematically handed them the title and effectively ended Tottenham’s campaign. Christian Fuchs, a left back for Leceister, recorded the team watching at teammate Jamie Vardy’s house. And it was lit as hell.

Their celebration is warranted given that they were 5,000-to-1 to win the title at the beginning of the year. I’m not sure how their next game against Everton will go considering these guys are probably going to be hammered on champagne for the next week, but you’d have to imagine there’s going to be some hangovers on that field which is something I respect.
Let’s just hope more celebration videos start trickling in from England over the next few days. They deserve it. .

They gonna be hungover tomorrow
I love baseball, the NHL is exciting as hell, but sorry, England does sports better than us. Our sports are just games, a football match in England is like a religious experience. Studied in South Kensington for a while and used to walk to Stamford Bridge, fell in love with the game. Chelsea had a dumpster fire of a season, but that’ll happen, I’m just thrilled they were able to prevent Spurs from winning, because that would have been too much. Good for Leicester and their supporters.
As much as I enjoy a passionate fan base, at least our fans won’t try to kill you for wearing opposing colors.
You ever been to a Dodger game?
Actually my first thought too. Or any Philly sporting event.
I once saw a grown man spit on a kid at a White Sox game
Tell that to 49ers fans
I’ll take my “meh”s or not but any sport that can end in a tie, is not a real sport.
Yes, I know NFL games can end in a tie, which is why the NFL is a joke of a league
Doesn’t come close to the video they released last season.
Everyone on the squad is getting laid all week & twice on Sunday. B/c winning an improbable championship is a massive PGPM
Improbable? They had 5,000 to 1 odds at the start of the season.
The USA 1980 Olympic team had 300 to 1 odds.
This is arguably one of the greatest sports stories of all time
Nobody is coming in to work tomorrow because the celebration riots have destroyed all the businesses.
