2.) How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
When/Where: Wednesday, December 2nd at 9pm EST on NBC
Despite the crappy animation, everyone knows the 1966 TV version is far superior to the $123 million Jim Carrey movie version from 2000. I mean, the 1966 version has the Grinch voiced by the guy who played the original Frankenstein, for god’s sake. Plus, it gave us the line that still, until this day, graces basic girl’s holiday cards and twitter feeds every holiday season:
“Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!”
Santa Claus is Coming to Town was awesome, but my favorite was always The Year Without A Santa Claus. Snow Miser was the shit.
For real. Highly underrated Christmas movie.
Both the Miser brothers rock. Miser Brothers Christmas was a lame attempt to bring them back. Also, claymation Jack Frost was prime.
This couldn’t be done on one page?
Great news — if you download the app, it puts it on one page.
Staring at your phone at work is apparently “frowned upon”. Staring at your computer gives the allusion you’re actually working.
