Well, this certainly ruins your week. Taylor Swift has pulled all of her music from Spotify. All of it. From “Trouble” to “Shake It Off,” it’s gone, ALL GONE. She just packed up all of her shit and left us with nothing but a trail of mediocre duets and songs from the Hannah Montana soundtrack.
Spotify and Swift’s people were working on a deal to feature her new album “1989” on the streaming service, but the two sides have apparently hit a huge snag along the way and now we’re just out here in a T-Swift-less world.
Spotify released a statement on Monday:
“We hope she’ll change her mind and join us in building a new music economy that works for everyone. We believe fans should be able to listen to music wherever and whenever they want.”
T-Swiz’s full discography, up until “1989,” was available on Spotify up until Monday morning. It doesn’t sound like Tay Tay is gonna budge on this anytime soon, either. She’s not a fan of streaming services. She had this to say to NPR last week:
“Well I truly believe in the album. I understand that the industry’s changing and a lot of people are streaming. However, there are a lot of people who aren’t, which is what this release reflects.”
Damn you, Taylor. I don’t want to have to go buy a CD at Target. I’m past that point in my life.

This is just ridiculous. Bye, Felicia.
One word “YouTube”
She’s starting to sound like Garth Brooks
Taylors gonna Tay
Taylor. Why you gotta be so rude?
Black Keys also held back their new album. Would’ve gone to see them in concert on Halloween here in Portland, but I voted with my wallet. I won’t see anyone not on spotify.
Becky needs to get over herself, seriously.
Respect.
Maybe she’ll right a song about it.
or even write one
