I guess Jay-Z’s got 99 problems, and son of a bitch, that’ joke’s already been made a million times today.
At last week’s Met Ball, an event known for A-List celebrities making incredibly lavish fashion statements, Solange Knowles attacked her brother-in-law Jay-Z in what can only be described as an Illuminati Meeting gone so very, very wrong.
The altercation went down in an elevator at The Standard Hotel in New York City, with security footage obtained by TMZ showing Solange kicking and clawing at Jay, while her sister Beyonce looked on.
Photos of the trio exiting the elevator showed an irate Solange walking ahead of Bey and Jay, while the latter held the side of his face as he walked past the throngs of press.
Sources say that Jay-Z made a comment that Solange took the wrong way and decided to bring the matter to blows while a bodyguard held her back from hitting Hova, but reps for the Power Couple and the lesser Knowles declined to comment on the matter.
One thing is for sure: This would make a HELL of a music video. Come on guys, let’s make it happen. I mean, hell, if Beyonce can record and sell an album overnight, we could make a “Lord Of The Rings”-esque Trilogy of films about this fight.
