Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is scoring some serious conservative brownie points. During the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, McConnell walked on stage brandishing a rifle. The crowd went wild.
The rifle was a lifetime achievement award, presented to Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn for what McConnell called his “distinguished service.” Coburn is leaving his seat in the Senate early due to health concerns.
As if this story couldn’t get anymore fairytale, McConnell’s likely Democratic opponent in the upcoming Senate elections, Alison Lundergran Grimes, retorted on Twitter:
Someone tell @Team_Mitch that’s not the way to hold a gun. KY women do it better. #kysen

In Kentucky, it’s more about the way you hold your weapon than how you use it.
Then, with what I can only assume was a raging Republican boner, McConnell gave a red meat speech to conservative activists attending the conference in what was a TKO pummeling of President Obama and Democrats for failing working-class families. He so had this to say about how the POTUS treats the Constitution:
“The President of the United States is treating our Constitution worse than a placemat at Denny’s.”
What remains to be seen is if said placemat is pre- or post-Grand Slam breakfast. There’s a difference, and anyone who’s been blackout at a Denny’s at 3 a.m. can vouch for that.

How do you feel about McConnell? Keep in mind, this will directly impact whether or not I read any more of your posts.
Still waiting on an official Twitter statement by Denny’s.
AMERICA. On the other hand, Grimes is a politician smokeshow.
