They implemented this thing in Atlanta where you pay an up front fee and a certain number of rides are for a flat fare. I paid $10 and my next 40 ubers in the city are $5.99.
I got the preview of that in Philly. $1.99 for UberPool and $3.99 for Uber after a $5 for 10 rides. I blew through them so fast, and then they said flat rates were no longer available. Devastating.
