The 2016 Ryder Cup is being held at Hazeltine National in Chaska, Minnesota. I have no clue where Chaska, Minnesota is but when Team USA shows up, they’re going to be putting on a fashion show.
Polo just did all of the gear for the U.S. athletes in Rio and they’ve moved onto outfitting our Ryder Cup team. I thought the outfits for the opening ceremonies were on point this summer and the sneak peek for the stuff Team USA will be wearing at Hazeltine just popped up.
Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson strutting their stuff in the only the finest garments Ralph Lauren has to offer. Nothing too crazy, I know, but you don’t want crazy for the Ryder Cup. This event needs to be looked at as a business trip and the uniforms echo that sentiment.
The Europeans are going for their third straight win and I can’t stomach the thought of that happening. The Americans need to look good but also give off the vibe that they’re not trying to do too much. Just get your points and get off the course. If they all rolled out there looking like John Daly I’d know we were going to lose.
Can Polo get these sweatshirts back as an optional piece, though? Or at least put them up online? Those things are fire. Furyk looking like Paddington Bear up in this bitch..

This lineup looks like the type of stuff that Polo eventually has to sell at their outlet stores for 80% off.
Johnny D, bringing forth some effort here. Not a complete disappointment. Did you go to my Fathers house today?
They’re* “post grad”
I can do without the huge horse on the shirts though. Thought the Olympic units screamed product placement.
Does anyone actually wear Ralph Lauren/Polo anymore? Made overseas, low quality and available 75% off at any bargain store.
I’m wearing a Polo bought at a bargain store for 75% off as we speak.
