Blah, blah blah, the sequel is never as good as the original. Yeah, I know, but when it comes to originals, very few movies ever compare to Wedding Crashers. It’s probably the most quoted film of our generation. Admit it, you had “Rule No. 76: No excuses, play like a champion,” in your original Facebook profile under “Favorite Quotes.”
And now there may be even more quotes to add to your arsenal by way of a sequel to Wedding Crashers, per Gloria. Or, well, the actress who played her, Isla Fisher.
Via Vulture:
Fisher revealed the news to the fine folks on Today, explaining: “I bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel. So I’m really excited to see what’s happened to Gloria.”
…
Fisher added that she isn’t sure if Wedding Crashers 2 is a “done deal,” but no matter.
Uhhhhhhh, yeah, sign me up. I’m crossing my fingers that this will pan out to be more D2 than Dumb & Dumberer, but there are no guarantees when it comes to Hollywood blockbuster sequels. But as long as there’s another “Shout” montage that I can watch before every wedding I go to on YouTube for years to come, I’ll be good. .

Wedding Crashers: The story of a creepy man who makes up a fake identity to stalk a woman, who’s engaged to a guy I would definitely want to chill with.
Does it really need a sequel though? The story wrapped up well.
It doesn’t need a sequel but, you know, money
The spiritual sequel was The Internship, which although not as amazing, was still pretty funny.
Do you think Todd from Wedding Crashers and Todd from TGDAG are the same person?
Phenomenal
Please don’t ruin the American classic that is Wedding Crashers with some shitty money grabbing straight to video trash.
As a younger man, Wedding Crashers made me excited to attend weddings. I have high hopes for the sequel.
I may be shamed for this, but I kinda hated how they wrapped it up. The 4 of them leaving town in the convertible planning their next wedding crash…ehh
Most quoted movie of our generation: wedding crashers, mean girls or anchorman?
Overall Anchorman, but Mean Girls made a strong push over the last few years
Another sequel coming out more than 10 years after the original? Sounds like another zoolander 2 is coming our way
