My office phone just rang for the first time since I started working two months ago. The lady on the other end had the wrong extension and I had no idea how or where to forward her call and the entire experience was terrifying. PGP.

I’ve never once tested a phone system to see if I knew how to transfer. I just assume I’m doing it right.
I started five months ago and my extension is one digit off of the IT extension. I get calls from old people all the time asking IT questions and then asking me to connect them to IT when I tell them they have the wrong number. Gonna unplug my phone.
