My company made us come into work even after our governor declared a state of emergency.
Had a vendor in NC chastise our MN office for closing early due to a blizzard, “It’s just snow.”
I’m no lawyer but that sounds illegal. Here in Ohio you’re not allowed to be on the roads if it’s a “Level 3” storm.
my old boss never understood that until somebody got arrested
Would it still be illegal if they said we had to take a personal day if we didn’t attend (WFH not allowed)?
Not illegal but shitty
I thought so, unfortunately employers hold all the power in the US
Government Ohio employee here, they said if you get pulled over show your government badge….
You need a new company
I’m well aware of that, just reached my 1 year anniversary and have kicked off the job search.
