I know we’ve barely started with this season of The Bachelor, so it seems absolutely bonkers to be talking about any Bachelor spin-off shows on the horizon. And I’ll agree with you that yeah, it’s nuts. But guess what? The Bachelor puts asses in the seats. I know it, you know it, and ABC one billion percent knows it.
So, ABC asks how in the world they’re going to compete with the Winter Olympics – an Olympics that happens to be taking place mere miles from North Korea – and their response was “let’s make a winter Olympics of our own, but with Bachelor contestants from the US and abroad.” Kind of brilliant, to be honest. Not interested in tuning in to watch the bobsledding and ice dancing? Come to ABC to watch former Bachelor contestants do…something? It’s unclear what they’ll be doing on the show. The only info so far is that it” be “winter themed challenges.” What’s that, like shoveling snow? Braving the pre-apocalypse Trader Joe’s lines? Remains to be seen.
But, I know you’re only here to see who you get to see again. Welp, here you go.

Certainly some familiar faces, especially on the US Men’s side. Obviously, we really don’t know anything about the contestants from International editions of the show, but certainly could make for some, um, interesting TV, especially if they all get to live in one giant ski lodge. I think I’d tune in if it was something like that. Because if you’ve ever been stuck in a ski lodge in the middle of winter up on the mountains of Vermont, you’ll know that shit gets weird. 10/10 would watch. I give zero fucks who wins in a Super G, Dean vs Benoit, but I’d tune in if they were ice luging, and the entire premise was apre ski. That would be a must-watch.
Unfortunately, there’s negative infinity chance that it isn’t anything except ABC’s stupid alternative to MTV’s The Challenge. .
Something tells me I’ll be rooting for the International women.
Seriously though, so looking forward to the international men.. *heart eyes emoji* Also, wonder why are there 3x as many international women as there are USA women?
Because 90% of American contestants can’t do anything besides takes photos for Instagram (men & women)
Hey! You don’t have to be rude about it. They also sell FitTea and hair gummies.
Probably more seasons of International Bachelor than Bachelorette?
I’m assuming girls from Arie’s season will 100% be on this after they got sent home early.
I’m just wishing that Chad was going to be on there to wreck stuff.
Wreck-It Chad, “I’m gonna wreck it!”
