“YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! OH MY GOD! WINDS HAVE REALLY PICKED UP IN HERE!”
Jim Cantore is the greatest weatherman of all time. There’s no question. So here he is in Boston covering Winter Storm Neptune (now THAT’S a name), just getting another shot ready, when suddenly…
Why is he so pumped? Because thundersnow is one of the rarest forms of weather pattern. It is every weatherman’s great white buffalo.
I wish I loved anything as much as Cantore loves weather. The guy brings the passion. Also, you know shit’s about to go down when he shows up with his cameramen and producers. “Severe thunderstorm warning? Whatever. I’ll just pull the car in the garage. Oh, Cantore’s coming? Fuck. Batten down the hatches and go grab all the milk and bread you can from the grocery store.”
Also, how baller is that custom LL Bean Weather Channel parka?.

IDK man….Tom Skilling is my top Weather Consultant
Neptune was named as such because Cantore was slated to be the Grand Marshall for the Neptune Mardi Gras parade in Biloxi, MS, but couldn’t make it because of the not yet named storm. So he was nice enough to name the strorm after our Krewe. Cool story bro. Thanks for sharing. Sorry, beat you to it.
You must be a lot of fun to work with.
