You probably know that tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo, which is technically a holiday which celebrates the Mexican victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla, but for many, it’s pretty much a holiday in which we can all drink mass quantities of tequila while wearing sombreros without seeming too culturally insensitive. But tomorrow, we can not only drink our faces off on a Tuesday with no guilt, but we can also eat breakfast tacos. Taco Bell is giving away free breakfast tacos, and everyone knows that free means no calories.
In an effort to lure people away from more traditional fast food breakfasts, Taco Bell is calling tomorrow “Breakfast Defector Day” and giving away free breakfast tacos at participating locations nationwide from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Customers get the new Biscuit Taco, which has eggs and cheese with bacon or sausage in a taco-shaped biscuit. According to the press release for the event, “Customers can also try other craveable breakfast menu items like the AM Crunchwrap, Cinnabon Delights coffee or Mountain Dew Kickstart.” I’m personally a little grossed out by Mountain Dew in the morning (or any time really), so I’ll just take my free taco, thanks.

Solid way to ruin any morning
Took advantage of last years Cinco De Mayo to try a Marathon Monday… half a bottle of old champagne and 2 BLP’s before 7AM is a great way to take a pass on what may have otherwise been a productive week
Stopping at the second Taco Bell now….
