I’m 23 and I’m still a temp. PGP.
I feel like 23 is a perfectly acceptable age to be a temp
I would think so but my roommates(aka my parents) don’t agree
I was a temp from 23-24. My friends gave me a lot of shit and living with parents sucked. I eventually got hired on (made sure to network my ass off)with a sweet position; now I make more than those friends who gave me shit.
You’re 23 dude. A lot can happen in just a short amount of time. Try to set up meetings and talk with anyone and everyone you can. It’ll work out.
I appreciate the encouragement. For the record, a good portion of my friends aren’t even able to find contract jobs, I appreciate I’ve been relatively fortunate
You’re going to find contractors are the norm. Fewer companies want to deal with overhead and paying insurance.
Took a temp job at 27 to switch industries. Don’t worry, it gets better.
29 (30 this month) and still a contractor. Keep your chin up.
