It’s a travesty that people don’t respect vacation. #1: “Oh where’s John today? I need to ask him something.” #2: “Oh he took a vacation day today.” #1: “Oh cool. I’m going to call him anyway because I’m sure he still actually wants to work on his vacation.”
The worst are the coworkers that take getting work done on vacation as some sort of badge of pride, and humble brag about it when they get back.
This girl LOVES to send reminder emails that she will be going out on vacation the next day, and then will wake up at the crack of dawn to send 15 emails
Yeah I know more than a few guys like that. Those are the same guys that’ll CC his supervisor when he points out someone’s mistake.
I’d give them the benefit of the doubt, be happy that they’re respecting your vacation.
