The Guy is a drug dealer. He lives in New York City. In each episode, he delivers weed to another one of his customers. And that’s all you need to know before embarking on the calming enjoyability of High Maintenence.
Oh, and you need to know that it’s really, really funny. Funny enough that it got picked up by HBO for a six-episode run that’s going to debut on September 16th, which is good news for all of us because we can’t stress over Naz on The Night Of anymore.
But really, why are you still reading this instead of watching it? It’s great for the Sunday Scaries. Here, I’ll even put the trailer right here for you to watch, followed by where you can watch even more.
Okay, did you watch it? Good. Right now, I’m sitting in bed typing this while it’s paused on the HBO Now app on my Apple TV. I paused it because I was like, “Man, this show is really funny and everyone should watch it because it’s curing my Sunday Scaries.” And this isn’t even one of those sponsored posts like you see on Instagram where Scott Disick is selling those teeth whiteners, so you know I actually like it considering I went through the time to construct this PSA.
Seriously. What better do you have to do right now than binge-watch these six-to-eight minute episodes? They’re all on HBO Now and/or HBO Go, and I know you have a password that you’re borrowing from your rich friend, so just watch already.
Okay? Okay. .
