File this under: Well, shit. Gotta pack my lunch tonight.
An unidentified man in England shot a video of a slimy, green caterpillar emerging from his cheeseburger at Ed’s Easy Diner, a well known burger joint, earlier this week. After taping the incident and uploading it to YouTube, the company went on to make this statement:
“This was an unfortunate but isolated incident at our diner in Gateshead. We took immediate steps to resolve the problem and are confident the diner is back to our usual exacting standards…all our lettuce leaves are washed and sanitised individually. We invest considerable time and resource in maintaining the highest possible food hygiene standards and have an excellent track record.”
The unlucky SOB got violently ill a few hours after nearly eating the soon-to-be butterfly. And what did he get in return, you might ask? A paltry $75 for himself and then $225 donated to the charity of his choice. If that had happened on this side of the pond, Ed’s Easy Diner would be looking at a multi-million dollar lawsuit. This dude should’ve thrown that $75 back at them and said “see you bitches in court.” Or, at least, that’s what I would’ve done. .

I still ate a burger for lunch today. PGP
Can someone teach these people to shoot the videos sideways on the phone ??
The way things are headed I wouldn’t be surprised for liberal arts schools to start offering classes called “The Art of the Selfie.”

I guess it was just a very hungry caterpillar.
