The Saints released Junior Galette less than a week before Training Camp. Last September, the Saints signed the defensive captain a 41.5 million dollar extension, but then it got weird.
Galette was arrested on a domestic violence charge in January, and video later surfaced of a man identified as Galette hitting a woman with a belt in a nightclub. This, on top of the rumblings coming from the Saints organization that the team was looking to move Galette, culminated with last Friday’s release of the troubled undrafted rookie. And then he went on Twitter.
Although Galette deleted his personal account, he apparently needed an outlet to burn every bridge ever, so he hopped on his girlfriend’s account and went off. The Tweets have been deleted, but Canal Street Chronicles did us all a solid and took a few screenshots.
Accusing your former boss of drug abuse and adultery is generally frowned upon and is a great way to lose a possible reference. There’s a lot going on here, but thankfully PatSayJack put together a solid breakdown of who was targeted in this ultimate shitstorm being tossed up by a former employee.
Got all that? I’m interested to know what Saints fans think about all of this. As a Cowboys fan, I prefer that my team stays a little more low key. .

Dear lord…Galette and Jameis Winston on the same team. I hope every single woman in Tampa owns a gun and/or mace.
Yeah, because the Dallas Cowboys are notoriously low-key.
Kinda the point. I was just kidding, like Jason.
