Facebook’s “A Look Back” feature is awesome. It goes through your profile and pulls different statuses, photos and videos from your profile, creating a beautiful mosaic of your life on Facebook in celebration of the website’s 10th anniversary.
Mark Zuckerberg even posted this to his timeline:
“When I reflect on the last 10 years, one question I ask myself is: why were we the ones to build this? We were just students. We had way fewer resources than big companies. If they had focused on this problem, they could have done it. The only answer I can think of is: we just cared more.”
One of my friends had an incredibly beautiful one that showcased her mother’s fight with breast cancer, her wedding and college photos.
Mine was just a bunch of pictures of blackout me. Oh well.
Give it a look. It’s really cool and will most definitely tug on your heartstrings.
Music didn’t really match the photos or statuses.
Oh hey, ex girlfriends.
Mine completely cut out a 4 year relationship. It’s awesome.
This makes me so happy I deleted my Facebook in 2011 and made a new one
Sad kansas fan after losing to VCU and a picture with Shooter McGavin? Goddamn, McGannon. You got it all figured out.
AND no pictures of ex-girlfriends. It was better than I could’ve asked for.
Mine was pretty much just the last two years as I had to remove pretty much all of college. Siiigh.
