Bad form, Croatian church. One of the most pivotal scenes in the “Game of Thrones” saga has hit a bit of a snag. Without delving into much detail, but also letting you know that we were supposed to see Lena Headey nude again (link is very NSFW), there’s a huge scene in the upcoming season of GoT in which Cersei Lannister appears nude. The scene doesn’t include incest, too!
That might not happen, though. The Church of St. Nicholas in Dubrovnik where the scene is supposed to be shot is blocking the filming of the scene due to their policy about public nudity on their property. As it stands, there’s going to be one less set of boobies in season five of Game of Thrones. And those boobies are arguably the nicest boobies in all of the seven kingdoms. Still holding out for Natalie Dormer to show the goods again.
Avoiding any spoilers, the scene involves Cersei walking out of the Great Sept of Baelor in King’s Landing and into the city streets in her birthday suit. Unfortunately, producers have no idea how to make the scene work. Fingers crossed, you guys.

And if you’re really desperate to see Lena Heady nude, it’s been done before. If HBO can’t get them to rescind or make an exception to that policy, they are probably going to have to use a green screen.
