To be on Jeopardy!, it’s pretty much a prerequisite that you’re at least somewhat nerdy. But this contestant from the other night took it to a new level when she described her love for “nerdcore hip-hop” to host Alex Trebek. I, myself, had never heard of nerdcore hip-hop before and neither had Alex. She described it as, “people who identify as nerdy rapping about the things they love – video games, science fiction, having a hard time meeting romantic partners. It’s really catchy and fun.”
Alex didn’t agree, and his response to her passion shit all over her fragile life.
“Losers, in other words,” Alex responded to laughter in the crowd. Losers, indeed.
You can see the full video at The Concourse. I would’ve embedded it here so you wouldn’t have to click again, but those dorks didn’t make it embeddable for vultures like me and I’m not techy enough to find a workaround. .

You know who loved Jeopardy? Duda. Am I doing this right?
This joke is an insult to Dave’s Gene/Jean. Gene/Jean would not have laughed.
Brian might have though
Ah you just dabbed on those Duda commenters so hard JR.
Not gonna lie, even if this contestant is a nerd she gets a “Would” vote from me
I’ve listened to a few of the “nerdy rappers” and while some of it was alright, I could feel my virginity slowly coming back so I stopped.
I feel like she really missed a golden opportunity to break out her best, “Suck on it, Trebek.”
If it ain’t Biggie or Ross, it ain’t for the Boss
Before I die I want to catch a home run and appear on Jeopardy. I’ve taken probably 12 jeopardy online tests and still waiting for a callback. I average better results on pointless job applications.
I’ll take savage af for $2000, Alex.
I immediately consulted YouTube. Apparently it’s also called geeksta rap. Not really my kind of thing, but some people like it?
sup?
Would!
