After missing their goals in nearly every major category, and with the recent departure of President Todd Skillman, who left after accepting a similar position with RAM Brothers Recruiting, LLC, Synergy Strategic Staffing, Inc. (“Triple S”) is looking to bounce back in a big way in 2015. I had the chance to speak with James McMichaels, the longtime director of leadership and direct operations (DLDO) of Triple S, and he believes this year’s recruiting class could be the best ever.
With all the turnover we had last year, and with Todd leaving, things have been tough. But at the end of the day, we have to get some new blood in here to turn this thing around. I think we can, and will, do just that. This has the chance to be our best recruiting class ever. – DLDO James McMichaels

Clay Wooley
Three-star intern from Texas State University (San Marcos, Texas). Can’t emphasize how important this is for #TripleS. I’ve been told that Clay turned a lot of heads during a happy hour in week two of his internship by boldly ordering two appetizers, skillet queso, and southwestern egg rolls, and he followed that up with chicken crispers for the entree. DLDO James McMichaels tells PGP that Clay is a guy who has all the intangibles that a young recruiter needs to be successful. My sources at Texas State tell me that this kid has the uncanny ability to “crush it.” Great start for Triple S. More to come.
Michael McSwain
Unrated applicant from Middle Tennessee State. Michael’s stock dropped after a turbulent junior year that saw him change majors twice. It culminated in a highly public arrest for a DWI and possession of a controlled substance. Through it all, Mike managed to maintain a 3.1 GPA, but to our knowledge, Mike has received no other offers. DLDO James McMichaels tells PGP that Triple S was really impressed with Michael’s cover letter, which was tailored to the open recruiting position at Synergy Strategic Staffing. Will be interesting to see how this works out long-term.
Jennifer Johnson
Did not see this coming. Long-time account manager Jennifer Johnson is reportedly on the move. Reports out of Triple S are that Jennifer has decided to attend law school in the fall, and she needs time to finish the application process. We’re hearing chatter out of the Johnson camp that Jennifer secretly took the LSAT sometime in 2013, and did “just okay, somewhere in the mid-one fifties.” DLDO James McMichaels has refused comment, but I have to think they’re starting to panic at Triple S.
Heather Sims?
Big if true. Heather was definitely well on her way to middle management at the Metro City Dillard’s in Phoenix. Heather was a big part of the Dillard’s 2013 recruiting class, and this will be a huge loss for them. You can’t say enough about Heather’s ability to organize a happy hour at the last minute, and her ability to bounce back from what would be career-ending political debates for anyone else. If she can keep her nonsensical libertarian beliefs to herself, Heather will do big things with Triple S.
Caleb Clifton
A bit of a surprise. Caleb comes to Triple S as an unrated computer science major from the University of Central Oklahoma. There’s not a lot of tape available on Caleb, but rumors of a high school suspension for installing a toilet cam in the girl’s restroom have plagued his academic career. My guess is that he will add depth to the somewhat maligned IT staff at Triple S, but don’t be surprised if DLDO James McMichaels gets creative and gives him a shot at recruiting. We’re told that James is an expert-level time-waster who can navigate all necessary back channels of the internet.
Steve Tanner
Coming out of Arkansas, Tanner has been highly recruited by oil companies, #TripleS, and he has even drawn interest from Wall Street, but the glitz and glam of Big Corporate couldn’t compete with his family ties. Dad owns Ford and Chevy dealerships all across his hometown where he’s been promised a senior sales position, 20 percent gross commission on top of a base salary, and a 7 percent stake in the company. Tough to compete with that, especially with a daddy’s boy like Tanner..

Where the fuck is Gil?
I heard rumors he turned down a full-ride opting instead for business school, but insiders believe he intends to still walk-on
