Our long national nightmare has ended…or maybe it’s just beginning. There will be a sequel to Space Jam. What’s more is that apparently Lebron James is slated to pick up where Michael Jordan left off, without having to hit .220 in AA minor league baseball.
Producing legend Dick Ebersol has signed on with Warner Brothers to be the movie’s producer and now all that’s left to do is get Bron-Bron in front of the camera and surround him with cartoons.
I’m usually not on board with sequels, but Space Jam 2 is a sequel I can get behind. The original Space Jam grossed $230 million dollars worldwide and stands as perhaps the greatest sports movie of the 1990s.
UPDATE: Lebron James’s camp is denying that he’s going to star in the film

Will Chris Bosh be cast as a member of the Monstars?
^HOW IS THIS COMMENT GETTING DOWNVOTED?
As long as Murray comes back to play offense.

I’m gonna be a real cynical asshole about this one. Nothing about this movie will come close to the original, and I will let people know about it.
Just another way Miami fans can say Lebron and MJ are equals.
The soundtrack is once of best ever, as well.
