All politics aside, you can't help but feel sorry for somebody who just spent years trying to achieve something just to see it not happen. It's from the new Netflix documentary MITT. This should be a pretty revealing look at the world's most interesting robot. It's also going to be exclusively on Netflix, because of course.
The director of the documentary is set to premiere on January 24 and was directed by Seth Gordon, who directed the awesome doc Undefeated, which was the story of a high school football team from Memphis, TN. Highly recommend that one while you're in between seasons of Breaking Bad and The West Wing.
I can’t watch. Too painful.
I refused to take the Romney sticker off my car until after July 4, 2013.
Too soon.
I can’t not watch. Too masochistic.
I was on the highway in a campaign Suburban somewhere in southeastern WI. I remember it was raining. #VictoryTeam2012
I was sitting in the parking lot of my county’s supervisor of elections office in NE Florida waiting on word if we were going to initiate a recount. #FLVictory2012
Wait. I worked Florida Victory as well. #ClearEyesFullHearts
Damn, this is heartbreaking to watch. Ya gotta feel bad for the guy, whether you liked him or not.
That hurt’s the heart to re-live.
Politics aside, I’m surprised the guy ever thought he was gonna win. The numbers were never on his side. Like the man himself said pretty much everyone who votes has already made up their mind before the election. Predicting the outcome isn’t rocket science.
Boohoo. Everyone feel bad for the super-rich politician who only lost because his party affected their batshit crazy ideologies on him. Mitt Romney the business man might have won the election. Mitt Romney the Republican Puppet lost for good reason.
As opposed to Obama, the Democratic puppet that was only elected because the MTV and E! generation are basically brain dead? Don’t fool yourself. No real candidate with original ideas about change can ever get elected. It’s always a puppet.
Never said anything about Obama not being controlled by his party as well. Every single politician in our broken 2-party system needs to be taken with an ocean of salt, but Romney was especially bad (see healthcare reform that he helped create, then suddenly reject). It’s a reflection of the party, not the man. I *almost* feel bad for whoever the GOP nominates in 2016.
I’m sure it was a rough realization to find out how dumb America really is.
Politics not aside, I still can’t believe the morons of this country voted for a cat herder over a successful businessman.
