Ever do something just to prove a point? Sometimes you just have to throw reason and good judgment to the wind and just go for it, especially when you’re pissed off.
Pourmohseni Hadi, an Iranian businessman living in Italy, was fuming after he claims BMW “failed to fix faults, including vibrations and rattling noises during gear changes which made him feel sick while driving.” Wearing one of the ugliest ties I have ever seen in my life, Hadi drove his $150,000 M6 to the Frankfurt Motor Show. Parking it out front, Hadi and a friend took out a sledgehammer and an axe and proceeded to beat the hell out of one of the nicest cars available from the famed automaker.
More than that, Hadi told reporters that he plans to do the exact same thing in front of the Bundestag, Germany’s Parliament building. Yes you read that correctly – he’s going to get another M6, drive it from Italy to Germany, and beat the shit out of another $150,000 luxury sports coupe.
Power move? Well, maybe. BMW claims that the car was not only fixed appropriately but was actually under lease. Since destroying it, Mr. Hadi has stopped making payments, and since it was a leased vehicle, he didn’t even own it to begin with.
One has to wonder what he’s going to do once he realizes how ass ugly that tie is. I’d recommend the axe.
