This is hippy shit
I’m going to generalize here, but…this is the shit that annoys the hell out of me about our generation. We know the problems (education costs, unemployment/underemployment, middle east, energy costs, debt) yet completely bomb on the reasons for said problems. The 1:54 mark of the video captures that stupidity…
“Gutting the unions” – Unfortunately they haven’t been gutted enough. The government employee unions are the most corrupt bastards in this country and are responsible for more problems than any other group. They set their own raises/benefits and have destroyed states with their greed.
“Stripping the planet of its natural resources” – This is the biggest crock of shit around. First of all, what good is a RESOURCE if you don’t use it? It no longer becomes a resource if you just let it sit there like a cigar store indian doing nothing. Maybe if we actually used our own resources, we wouldn’t have to deal with the savages in the middle east and wouldn’t be held captive at the gas station by Saudi oil terrorists.
I can go on but you get the point. I’m not saying I expect everyone to jump on the tea party/libertarian train, but at least know where this all starts.
