Today is Thursday, which means that we just have one day between us and the wonderfulness that is known as the weekend. One. More. Day. Thank God, amirite? As I walked in this morning, I felt unusually tired and bogged down. I know “Mondays” are a thing, but “Thursdays?” Man, I don’t know. Maybe Daylight Saving is screwing me up or something, but whatever it is, I hate today.
There was a brief glimmer of hope, however, when I saw that someone on Facebook shared a post about being able to play Cards Against Humanity online. “It’s about damn time” I thought to myself as I excitedly clicked the link. Well, you know what happened? The site didn’t work. Whether it be due to lawyers or massive traffic, I don’t know and quite honestly I don’t really care. It just doesn’t work.
I was about to scrap this news story altogether and let out a serious “FUCK today” when I did a quick little Google search and found that although the new site is down, there is still something called the Cards Against Humanity Lab and that actually allows you to play the game as well…well, sorta. It’s more of a “lab” that allows you to play against a computer and pick the funniest option. But you know what? It’s better than nothing.
I’m not even going to ask if you’re excited because I know you are. So, I’ll keep this short and sweet. Click here to get the game — and if your boss walks over and wonders why you’re so giggly, just tell him that it must be due to your new medication. Then look him dead in the eyes and say “Who knew workplace depression could hit you so young? Thank God for Lexapro, you know what I mean?” Boom. You just scored yourself a day of nothing but inappropriate card games. Also, be on the lookout for an email from HR. .

I tried this yesterday and no one else joined the game. And then I had to work instead. It was bullshit.
I just put in my two weeks notice. I’m playing this with no shame. No alt-tabbing for this guy.
