Gotta get your news from both sides. If you’re seeing the story from more than one viewpoint, you can better determine what the real story is and who is reporting the story with the least amount of bias.
Its already happening. I read an article this morning talking about the possible nominees of both parties for the next Presidential race in 2020. Kanye not included
I just recently joined a rec league in the city I moved to a year ago. Every person I talked to at the pre-season get together was in a relationship or married. Win some lose some
I agree that one issue voters are also an issue. I didn’t mean for the post to come across as that. I meant that you see a lot of people posting online with a video or a quote from Trump or Hillary with something like “Good point” or whatever and they are immediately chastised for “agreeing” with every single position the candidate takes. With the two party system, voters need to decide on candidates based on how the whole of the candidate’s viewpoints match with the voter’s. There are positions on issues that voter’s personally deem as “make or break” and other positions that they can live with that the voter doesn’t agree with.
The thing that has spiraled out of control is the all or nothing mentality. You can vote for a candidate without supporting all their positions or actions. Personally, I feel that Hillary is the best choice as far as foreign relations go because she has played the game for so long and knows the right way to make allies and keep relations. Doesn’t mean I also agree with how she conducted her electronic documents. Conversely, I agree with Trump that America has lost its edge in education and lost a lot of good, stable jobs to globalization. Doesn’t mean I think every person with origins south of our border are bad people.
Not all government jobs top out at $85K. Gotta get into the ones that support themselves or are important to congress. The benefits alone are better than most others out there.
Tuesdays are the real silent killer of motivation and trying to care. Mondays are the best days to start something new or get into a new habit or whatever. But Tuesdays are so far removed from the weekends that there is no light to bee seen from either end of the tunnel. Mondays make you miss the good times from the previous weekend but Tuesdays make you wonder when the hamster wheel will give you a chance to get off
With views like that, you should give a look to Gary Johnson. He also is fiscally conservative and for small government but also feels that you what you do on your own time is your business, as long as it isn’t harming other people.
Per diem is the best part of my job. We have to use personal vehicles so we get mileage reimbursement as well. With mileage and profit from the excess per diem, travel has paid my car note, insurance, and gas every month with enough left over to further pad the savings account and make the occasional casino night a lot more enjoyable
I lived in Tulsa for 6 months after college for my first job. It was pretty great. Then they transferred me to OKC. It’s pretty not great. I miss Tulsa.

Same here. Not sure if I would notice though

Its really entertaining to read those truther posts though. And conspiracy theories in general.

I’m just tired of seeing the opening scene of The Newsroom as a justification for why we aren’t the greatest country anymore.
