Can you believe it’s been 20 whole years since the Ducks/Team USA brought to you by Hendrix Hockey took down Iceland in the Junior Goodwill Games? Marguerite Moreau (AKA “Connie Moreau”), who is an absolute fox these days, posted pics from the Ducks’ 20th anniversary reunion on her Instagram page:
“Good looking skater.” “Very good looking. Wouldn’t you say, Guy?”
Connie and Guy forever, you guys.
Damnit. It seemed like only yesterday when the Ducks took down Gunner Stahl and Wolf “The Dentist” Stansson at the Arrowhead Pond, restoring honor and glory that USA hockey had not seen since Mike Eruzione and Jimmy Craig took down the Russians in Lake Placid. I’m still waiting on Air Bombay loafers to hit the market.
This is just another string in recent ’90s 20-year reunions that are starting to make me feel like an old piece of shit who hasn’t accomplished anything in my life. These kids had an NHL team named after them in 1994 and the most productive thing I’ve done in the last three weeks was a failed attempt at organizing a family cell phone plan between myself and my friends.
