With only two episodes left of Westworld to hold us over until the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere in July of 2017, HBO fantasy nerds like myself are about to be in a serious content drought. In my gap between Westworld and Westeros, I’ll probably continue watching old episodes on repeat until I find out whether or not Dani takes the Iron Throne. While I can’t make new episodes of Game of Thrones get here any faster, beginning in March, you’ll at least be able to pretend you’re drinking wine with Tyrion because Game of Thrones wine will be here for all of your drinking needs.
Thanks to a partnership between HBO and Vintage Wine Estates, you’ll be able to nerd out over a bottle of Game of Thrones wine. There’ll be three different options – a red blend and a Chardonnay that are expected to sell for $19.99 each, and a Cabernet Sauvignon expected to retail for $39.99. While that exceeds what I’m typically willing to pay for a bottle of vino, am I still going to buy it in excess? You bet.
You’ll definitely catch me at the wine store first thing in March to stock up for my inevitable Game of Thrones viewing party when season 7 premieres. Until then, it’ll be business as usual with my typical weekly Black Box purchase. Don’t judge – I have to cut back somewhere to afford a case of HBO’s Cab in March, okay? .

When do we get the wildling fermented goat milk eggnog though?
Surprised it took this long to make. Ommegang Brewery makes GoT beers which I’d highly recommend
I heard about this, but can never find any. Is it seasonal?
I picked it up from Costco, but haven’t actually indulged yet. It’s not too had to find by me (New York), but probably because the brewery that makes it is in Cooperstown.
