Get ready to be disappointed in your state. The folks over at Thrillist came up with this map that shows the most “iconic” restaurant in your state and all I can say is LOLOLOL at Kansas, Florida and Illinois.
The deciding factors for which restaurant defined which state were sales, where the company is headquartered and where it’s most well-known. I’d say the big winners here are Texas, California and Georgia. Also, what the hell is going on in the Dakotas?

Godfather’s is the worst pizza in America. Come on, Nebraska.
Culver’s is the best establishment out of all of these without questions. Bojangles is strong too.
Mmmmmmm Bojangles……I miss it so
1. In-n-out is horse shit. There’s no reason to wait in the perpetual 45 minute line for a plain $3 burger that’s only slightly better than McDonalds.
2. I’m surprised Waffle House didn’t win a single state. What a shame.
Waffle House didn’t win because its Georgia competitor was Chick-Fil-A. As a proud Georgian I love both, but you can’t beat the original chicken sandwich.
What if you combine the two? The original chicken and waffle sandwich?

#1 Are you high, Sir?
Panera? Oh, you mean Bread Co!
You’ve got the Cardinals, don’t take my Panera as well
Came here just to say this, you beat me to it
Space aliens is a shitty knockoff of an all ages Dave and busters. Pretty sure only 4 exist in the state
One for every person who lives there.
As a South Dakotan, I can tell you that The Millstone only has 3 locations, and they aren’t that great. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.
Don’t know if it’s just me, but I don’t consider Starbucks a restaurant
West Virginia should’ve definitely been Tudor’s. Gino’s has more locations, but it’s just slightly better Fazoli’s. Tudor’s is the Holy Grail of hangover food.
