It’s Friday afternoon. You’re sitting in your office. There is nothing more than a few hours, a couple spreadsheets, and a handful of miles of driving keeping you away from your sweet, sweet weekend. Looking at the clock won’t help you. In fact, its working against you by moving as slow as mechanically possible. All might seem lost, but do not despair, for there is one mighty power you can call upon to make these last hours fly by: The Montage. The synth lines kick in, the drum beats roll, and instantly you will find that your work has been completed and piled neatly in front of you. If used properly, this technique pioneered by several of the immortal masters of the ’80s will change your life completely, but I advise you, use it with respect and caution.
