Nurses and servers by far bitch the most but honestly nurses are in a league of their own. You’d think it was forced labor.
To be fair, you don’t have to deal with people’s poop.
To be fair, servers don’t pay thousands to learn a job, then bitch and moan nonstop.
It’s insufferable when they get together. I date someone in the service industry and I can’t hang out with her when she’s with other waitress/bartenders/cooks because all they do is bitch about their customers/managers/coworkers.
And most of them are screwing each other.
“Waiting” is pretty fucking funny though if you ever worked in the service industry.

*What I hate about servers* their stupid fucking condescending tone 24/7. They’re always the first to say how smart they are yet here you are bringing me my steak. Don’t even get me started on the entitlement of tipping. Maybe if you were so smart you wouldn’t be in a job where your compensation is an option. I literally don’t care if you gas tank isn’t filled. As a financial advisor, sometimes clients take action where I don’t get paid, that doesn’t mean I go an act like a waiter.
God they’re so miserable.
Here’s a quick update for you, buddy: tipping isn’t an option. It’s part of going out to eat and if you can’t afford to tip, you can’t afford to go out to eat. Now, if a server is really shitty at their job, sure, sometimes they deserve to be stiffed so they can wake up and learn to get a different job. But for good or even acceptable levels of service, you should either be tipping or eating at places where nobody serves you but the guy behind the counter.
I don’t care if someone tips, but it shouldn’t be expected. Just pay servers a the federal minimum wage and then tip if you think the server deserves it. But most servers are against this because they can make more from tips than the federal minimum wage. I just really hate how the customer subsidizes the meal instead of the owner.

And I do tip, very well being 20% as a minimum, because if I’m out I’m with a client and not tipping says more about you than any one else. With that being said, it doesn’t change the fact that servers literally bitch about everything. Perfect example being in this video, the guy who has a tampon up his ass about extra ranch. Who cares if the patrons want extra ranch, it’s not coming out of your tip, but because that requires a little extra effort, he lost his shit.
Coming from the operations side of the business, I deal with quite a few financial advisers who love to bitch and moan. Regardless, if they are so reliant on their tips, do a better fucking job and you’ll get a better fucking tip.

Some times the problem is not the person providing the service….its the shitty customer who’s asking for the service. Just a tip from a past brain dead waitress.
Heaven forbid a customer who’s paying a server to serve him ask for something.
If you don’t like tipping just ask the restaurant to charge you more for your food.
