Well Dillon I’m starting cinco weekend off with a minor douchebag bar crawl in the SF Marina district tonight. Tomorrow is bottomless dim sum brunch followed by a day party followed by a concert. Sunday will be spent regretting terrible decisions I’m sure.
California is trash. Fine to visit (especially San Diego) but living here is miserable on the bank account. I’m trying to get out as soon as I can. Also, fun fact, Nevada produces more gold than CA so that nickname is bullshit. I’d say Texas might be the best state to be from but I’ve never lived there.
What part of Cali are you drunk in? If you go the PGP subreddit (www.reddit.com/r/postgradproblem) you can make a post there about a west coast meetup. I’ve traveled as far as philly for these meet ups so it would be nice to have one in the same state.

TSA agents on my last flight laughed when I pulled my liquids bag of alcohol out. Told me they were glad I remembered to bring my “vitamins.” Had a friend almost get arrested for being too drunk drinking his own alcohol and getting caught though, so yeah be smart about it.
I mean I’m flying 2nd class there and back which means free alcohol for the 5 hour flight. Might get a little rowdy who knows? Gonna bring some reserve shooters in case I get cut off.
