I don’t want to be a pessimist here but 9 months is just past the honeymoon phase. I’m willing to bet he probably hasn’t had an opportunity to be really, truly angry with you much prior to this. I dated a guy in college who didn’t start to show his true colors until 8-9 months and then I’d get called a slut for going to parties without him, the controlling texts rolled it 24/7, I got shoved down a stairwell, and finally the last straw was when he came to my dorm room yelling about how much of a worthless C U next Tuesday I was and my RA called the cops. If that hadn’t happened, who knows how long I’d have kept making excuses for him.
Long story short, watch for other warning signs. If you stay with him, tread carefully and know when you’re in too deep.
Came here to say this. My OB does it yearly just as part of that check-up. And I’m married…with two kids.
I agree the names are out there but it’s not like they could use Hortensio, Lucentio, or Gremio… Ms Perky is a solid step up!
Dang… and here I am complaining that our in-home daycare recently had a hand, foot and mouth outbreak!
Located near MKE. Can confirm this weekend will be miserable. Currently 7 months pregnant. Send all the Bomb Pops.
If you’re a reader, check out The Art of Racing in the Rain. Absolutely gave me a whole new perspective on my dog’s existence. I was wrecked. But so worth it.
I’m glad! Best of luck. I hope you find a good fit. 🙂
Look into whether or not your employer has an Employee Assistance Program. Mine does and they helped me weed through several therapists until I found the right fit, and all of them were covered under our insurance. As far as what insurance covers, I just have to pay a co-pay, which is $30/session. That seems daunting but it’s covered with my HRA funds and it’s beyond worth it. If your employer does not have an EAP, then yes, shop around and don’t stop looking if you don’t feel comfortable with one.
Afterwards, all you’re going to think is “why did I worry so much about all that stuff?” because none of it matters.
I’d also like to add that while pregnant, nobody gives a shit about your weekly bump photo.
Peanut butter and banana sandwich anyone? No, just me?
Can’t think of anyone more deserving of that ending.
You think there’s a market for this for pregnant women? Just curious…..
Diapers are expensive.
I mean, I don’t know what the summers are like where you’re from but to me, a summer shouldn’t be so dang hot that you can’t leave your house (lookin at you, Jacksonville) and I’ve never had to worry about an earthquake or a hurricane in Wisconsin.
Plus, I can take my snowmobile to work. Or tractor, whatever.
A place where the beer flows like wine; where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.
Smear or bust.
I don’t blame him. Buttons suck.
