Pretty much every show follows the same trajectory: good start but we don’t know the characters’ depth yet, best seasons are 2-5, then the brilliance slows as it closes. That being said, it’s wild that last GoT season catches so much flak. It was still a television masterpiece and I can’t imagine thinking anything from GRRM and Thrones could “suck”
I beg to differ… Went out for sushi on my 21st and quickly regretted not having a more substantial meal in my stomach when the booze started flowing. Granted, that night was ending poorly either way, but I stand by my point
Piggybacking off of this, it SUCKS watching childhood favorites resurface in a foreign uniform. Brodeur coming back for a victory lap with St. Louis and then joining their front office stung a bit. I imagine the Fabre saga sucked for the packer faithful
Genuinely curious – is having free snacks around the office a common thing? We get fruit delivered on monday, bagels on Friday, and the occasional catered lunch if there’s a specific meeting that calls for an order but my office doesn’t supply things like chips, granola bars, etc.
There’s a big difference between fiscally responsible and cheap, and your roommate is definitely the latter. I grew up in a frugal family and that stuck with me, but I’ll never let that get in the way of my enjoyment or picking up at least my fair share of bar tabs
That’s my logic with the Giants right now. I assume Eli will get sacked 5+ times a game and we’ll probably score around 10 points. My hopes can’t be crushed if they don’t exist
I guess 3 episodes isn’t enough to be considered for this list but Dr. Maddox aka Courtney Cox’s character was Keith Dudemeister-level trash. That being said, this list is fantastic
