You gotta do the mixing process in the waiting area before you board. Basically the only thing flight attendants actually do anymore is watch like a hawk for people who brought their own booze on board.
Take it from me, someone who has experienced the low point of having booze confiscated on a plane before.
I have a friend who really likes to be the one to volunteer to take the hit then Venmo req everyone, but she forgets to actually do the req probably 50% of the time. Maybe more. It’s great.
