You’re lucky. We’re migrating to an SAP ERP system from our current AS400 environment, with a kickoff next week. Nothing like starting a year and a half project in the middle of December!

I wish this was the case for me. Low productivity from the business usually means more work for us, whether that means we’re upgrading/doing maintenance to systems, or just that people are breaking shit because they’re bored and seemingly have nothing better to do.
Have had one since Christmas last year. Can confirm that it is absolutely worth it. Think crock pot dinners done in 20 minutes. With all the OT that I put in and as worn out as my girlfriend and I are when we get home most nights, I’m honestly not sure how we lived without it.
You seriously have to be kidding. I can’t imagine a week without listening to you guys.
That said, my heart is heavy for the hit that content alley is taking. I know I’ve not had that much interaction with you guys, but in all the hours listening (and a few exchanged emails) to you all, I’ve come to feel as if you guys are friends of mine in some small way.
I know that Dave and Dillon will go on to do great things but fuck, this is heavy. I wish you guys the best of luck, and hope to hear and read more of your work in the future. Keep on killing it, boys. The best is yet to come.
Will: Stay strong, my man. I know what it’s like to have the work squad gutted all to hell. As a transplant myself, I understand how they can basically become family. I know the next few days/weeks/months will be rough without them, but I also know that you’ll find the strength to keep the fire content flying. Onward and ever upward, my brother.
Man, don’t throw the IT department under the bus. With outsourcing and contract labor becoming the norm in our industry, we’re already worried enough about our jobs.
And replying to comments is not working as it should. This is slightly embarrassing

Side note, have lost ~60 lbs since we started using it. Makes healthy eating much easier.

Fuck.
Thank Jesus, I’m finally off the hook.
You can now include the tagline *no IT guys were harmed in the making of this series*
You know what they say, shit rolls downhill. That’s why the IT department is usually in the basement. Getting shit on like crazy.
Glad to see that TCL survived the PGPocalypse! I was very nervous when it wasn’t published last week

Perfect for a lunchtime pick-me-up. Thanks for taking the heat off of me for once!
Also, joking aside, annual review is this afternoon. Ts & Ps appreciated
Well…you’re not wrong.
Also, that username. Sup?
I have a feeling this isn’t going to end well for me…
“The only sound hanging in the air was the whirring of his laptop’s drive”
No tech guy worth his salt would be caught dead using a mechanical drive in his laptop. This is 2018.
Side note. I look forward to this more than TGDAG now. Sorry Will.
This series is absolutely brilliant. Bravo, good sir. Bravo.
That said, love the story.
