I’ve been living alone for about a year now, after moving to a new city to take a job out of school. I’d describe it as a blessing and a curse. There have been periods when I’m putting in a lot of hours and I don’t hang with anyone outside of work for a few weeks. You definitely get lonely and sometimes you get deep in your own head. It’s definitely hard to be motivated to keep your place from turning into a messy shithole. I’m on the phone with my family and gf all the time. But aside from all that, living with other people really stresses me out at times so that’s a huge weight off my shoulders.
Considered doing this in the past but never pulled the trigger because I’m too addicted. Might change my mind if I found out they still made the Matrix-style spring loaded phones
My grandma, also raised on a farm, is the opposite. At my grandparents house, supper is a delicious weekend/holiday mid-afternoon large meal, usually featuring roast beef or turkey. Dinner there is later in the evening with the leftovers. Personally I don’t think many people under the age of 60 (north of the mason-dixon line) observe supper, but either way I’m interested in hearing other takes on this. The week after should be Pop vs. Soda
Now after reading this, am I the only person wondering if my clothes have been defiled with an acquaintance’s bodily fluids, washed, and then I was never told, and my life is a lie? Just me? Idk I just feel like this dude had a right to know lol
Ready for downvotes but here’s my hot take on this: if you are not going to train your dog, then don’t get one at all. Tired of people (especially our age) who think it’s cute when their dog is terribly behaved and pisses and shits indoors because they never trained it as a puppy. There needs to be more people like you who don’t get one if they’re not sure about the commitment. And for the record I love dogs
I feel this article. My tatted gf suggested that I get some, and I kind of want to but not sure what I wouldn’t regret. I cringe every time I recall 9th grade when I wanted nothing more than the T-Mac barbed wire
Perry’s from your town’s local shop that was only open in the summer was the best. 585/716ers know

This was me but with Arnold Palmers back in the day. Nothing like a can of ice cold arizona on a 90 degree day in the mid-late 2000’s. RIP
Cape Fear beer and wine fest on Saturday, perfect way to chill out after putting in a lot of hours at work this week

I’m glad I’m not the only degenerate here who enjoyed the Tourette’s guy videos
