There’s definitely a little more to the story than Alyssa is letting on given her reaction the night before, but Eric really fucked up here. Hope she finds out from someone else and then dumps his ass leading to the Alyssa spinoff we’ve all been clamouring for.
I also saw this movie for the first time this weekend, and while I agree with all of these takes, the story of Liam Neeson and his kid alone would make me want to rewatch this every Christmas.
First, the thing with finding mayo at work and now this. I think Todd uses these food-themed problems as an escape from the smoking crater of his life.
Just another Toucher here to say you guys have change my outlook on post grad life. I found Touching Base a year after graduation. I was working in a job I hated, and everything about my life felt bleak and miserable; I felt like my best years were behind me. Touching Base lifted my spirits and helped me to realize that post grad life is what you make of it, and that if you choose to live a life full of good friends and great experiences you can find happiness. As long you have only one (1) beer. Dave and Dillon always crack me up, and I consider them models of how to be a cool dude in your 30s (and 40s shout out to Dorn). Gonna miss the pod and them immensely.
Will, your content is amazing and I’m gonna continue reading TGDAG and Worst Weekends while I listen to the Sunday Scaries pod, but otherwise I can’t help but feel Grandex has officially lost my business.
Yeah, but she also said she thinks it’d be cool to have a series written by a woman. It helps to have more representation because it’ll draw in new readers who want to see takes from people they can relate to. All the current male PGP writers are fantastic, but to a newcomer who isn’t a white male it could be alienating.
Need Dave to be permanent on Back Door Cover, or at least once a week every week for the remainder of football and basketball season. The Mailbag pod was also the funniest it’s ever been this week. Keep it up
I think it’s difficult to go through a period of radical change in life and enter into a new relationship with someone. You can’t really give someone 100% when you’re actively trying to improve yourself and your life because personal change requires a lot of time and solitude to figure your shit out. If you go into this relationship and your growth stops then you’ll always have regrets about what you could have been no matter how good the relationship or how great the girl. It’s unpopular advice, but I think it’s best for you ,and Hope, to focus on yourself so that you can create the life for yourself that will make you the happiest. It’s a tough trade-off, but I think long-term you gotta put yourself first because it’s your life.
Been loving the podcasts and articles of late. All the articles have been generally pretty strong and Getting Back In The Game has quickly become my new favourite recurring series. Podcast wise, the Mailbag needs its own feed ASAP. Additionally, I loved the Touching Base with all female voicemail and the Ross Bolen Podcast with Liv Langdon; it’s great to hear from the girls because I find the thoughts and questions from dudes can get kinda repetitive. Would still love to get more diverse voices and even more women (where’s CMV at?) in the articles and on the pods though. All in all keep on delivering that fire content, kings.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Tim and Brit shot their shot at Todd and Girl once they’ve polished off a couple bottles of cab.

I like that every other article Duda writes spawns a rebuttal piece
Don’t make Blair your famous roulade. She isn’t worth it.

Damn, I love this series, but it’s really hard to open PGP without feeling a wave of sadness wash over me.

Man I love cold chinese food. Cold fried rice, cold general tso chicken, cold egg rolls, it’s all good to me.

Would love a spin-off about Alyssa written by CMV
I hope Girl’s phone was stolen and then we kick off next week with her unboxing an iPhone XS Max
Not the most mature move, but fuck it you had a shit day and she was being rude.
Did Sober January this year and the way people approached me about it it was like I told them I was quitting my job and joining a monastery.
Should’ve left Blair on read

Sorry that you and your girl broke up Duda, but goddamn am I glad you’re engaging in the chase again
Dave, you’re highkey the funniest podcast host on all the pods, so would love a pod starring you and Micah. That would be electric.
