I feel ya. My boss forces our team to lunch at 12pm everyday. All the restaurants have lines out the door. It would be better if you can go whenever you want to avoid lines.
Surprised Nashville isn’t on the list. There are so many bars, breweries, and brunch spots all around. The areas in Nashville and outside of the city are great places to live, but can be damn expensive (12 South, Germantown, Sylvan Park, Brentwood, etc).
