Sturg is the real deal. Saw The Hag in 2014 and Chris Jansen opened up for him, no band just Chris and his guitar and it was fanfuckingtastic. He got into the stories behind a few of his deeper songs and I’m pretty sure the entire Georgia Theater was crying. Hag seemed to be a big fan of his too. Favorite line from that show “Anyone want to see a skinny white guy play the harmonica like Jerry Lee Lewis” as he proceeded to do just that. But yeah, Simpson hits the nail directly on the head here.

Combine numbers 1 (beer mosa) and 6 (cider, but a decently dry one I.e. Stella’s), garnish with a lemon and lime wedge and enjoy. Hefeweizen’s make decent manmosas, but a cider mimosa trumps it.
