Yep, I’m planning to take a few Fridays off to study. Pushback is a little tough when I’m at a top 10 place in NYC (and a busy practice group). Luckily they’re generous with PTO.
On the bright side, I’m on pace to make 100k thanks to OT.
I’ve been stuck working 70+ hrs a week the last 2 months as a big law paralegal and I’m running low on time to study for the September LSAT and finish my essays. I’m terrified that being a paralegal is gonna get in the way of my dream of being a lawyer.
I’m wondering if the decision to skip the oxford comma after “border” was a typo or a subtle sign of RDT’s increasingly sophisticated writing abilities.
I met a girl 2 weeks ago at a party, we’ve chatted a bit via text and hung out with some mutual friends on 2 occasions. Then last night, I asked her to a sushi and sake date and she texted me 20 mins before to ask if one of our mutual friends could come. I’m not a jealous or violent person, but damn was I close. On the bright side, at least I can focus on LSAT studying, albeit with a broken heart.
