I can’t comment on the incident, I don’t know what happened. Truth is they were flown out of there quick af so no criminal investigation was done. And truth be told, I’m from Mexico, so I wouldn’t have trusted Mexican officials to not be paid off. A WB investigation isn’t enough for me to say anything about who did what, because at the end, WB is only worried about their show and they’ll pay anyone anything to keep quiet. Look at FOX, it took years to get them to admit they were covering up for Roger Ailes. Look at the Cosby mistrial. Truth is, it took balls for the producer to come forward and not be a bystander. So it’s not my place to victim blame a woman or villainize a black man when no real investigation took place. I blame the media for that, who shouldn’t have even released their names, which forced them to release statements. The only ones I see at fault here are ABC/WB, who let the incident happen to begin with, and then acted like they were guilty af by ending production and flying everyone out. So yeah, I hope both Corrine and DeMario get a fat paycheck from them.

Makeup is actually not a choice to a woman who wants to be paid better and get ahead: http://fortune.com/2016/05/19/makeup-more-money/ . You could probably wear ill-fitting clothes and it won’t affect your pay. As for Taylor, depending on what type of law she practices, her looks could make or break her in a jury trial. Tons of research about how juries judge cases and the attorney’s capabilities on how they look, but this doesn’t really affect men, who are seen as competent just for being men. And yes our casual, everyday clothes can be cheap, but not our work clothes.

You know how you can be a better ally? Figure out wtf is wrong with white women. Talk to your demographic Quinn. 75% of you voted for the idiot at Pennsylvania Ave. As a WOC, I’m done giving y’all tips, organizing your neighborhoods, and giving away my ideas to your demographic. This is the payback we get. An idiot for a President and this bullshit “strike”. The system has been broken for years but NOW y’all wanna decide you’re woke & you only want to “fix” things because it might actually permeate enough to affect some white women. Figure it out yourselves, I don’t service you.

Day without A Woman started in South American countries, where women still don’t have basic rights, but was hijacked by an American women to say “look at us we’re woke”. Except it centered around privileged women like Quinn, instead of around women who actually needed to be highlighted. Because who cares that many school districts shut down and women who weren’t out to make a political statement struggled to find daycare and had to lose a paid day off their 3 jobs to stay at home with their children, as long as Quinn got to feel good about herself for giving us a “voice” and being our white savior. You know who didn’t benefit from this day without a woman thing? Those trafficked children, to whom one day of no one working for them makes a difference. Sorry not sorry that your “action” doesn’t do shit for my confidence or comfort, cause no one is out here validating WOC’s feelings,we do shit for ourselves. Your “activism” meant putting privileged women’s wants above marginalized women’s needs, so thanks but no thanks.
