Bacon basically confirmed on TFM today that the comment on yesterday’s snapchat column about the fact that their merchandising is doing better than the websites and they’re going more to a freelancer role for writers with a few dedicated on-site writers. Madison is apparently going to write a press release as well.
Recently went from a soccer team that was focused on winning games and the championship and never went to the bar back to my old team that likes to win but would enjoys the third half at the bar. Best switchback ever.
Gotta say for PGP going with mainly freelance writers seems to make sense. Since we’re all hear to basically to bitch about work life and how shitty coworkers and managers can be. It’s pretty hard for multiple people who all work in the same office, which has seemed like a really relaxed office, to be able to keep writing about that aspect of life. Will’s been able to lockdown a couple certain pieces he writes routinely and supplement it with random other articles.
As somebody who is going to watch the Mets probably lose a 1-0 or 2-0 game tonight this spoke to me. However, if you think I’m not gonna be watching the entire game hoping we get the chance to get destroyed by the Cubs you’re an idiot.
My uncle uses Facebook to post puns and tag family members in them, I don’t allow them to get posted to my wall, can’t lie when I say I laugh at almost all of them though.
I miss being able to just use other people’s yards as part of our games and just claiming to be an ignorant kid who didn’t know what property lines were.
It’s amazing how certain rules your parents make seem like the most unfair thing in the world but looking back on it you’re happy they did it to you. After the third grade I wasn’t allowed to watch TV except on weekends, although I hated the rule it meant I was often outside with friends or reading books.
Madoff, what’s your untapped name if you’re ok with sharing? Always interested in what others are drinking on there, when I remember to check in that is.
Whoever wrote this says that they’re normally a Republican so it’s definitely not an internal email.
Enjoyed the article, but I’d love to see the text/email Grandex sent all the remote writers.

Well apparently JR is there killing the guy for not playing it.
God fucking damn it, are you also calling in sick tomorrow because I’m getting wasted tonight.
I just compare the money between my brother and me. O look, I’m poorer than him.

I’ve flown back from Europe twice with two of the worst hangovers I’ve ever had, 8hrs of hell.
Are we important in college football?
They’re probably allowed to watch shows at work if they say it’s for a column.

I’m thanking that Y chromosome right now after reading these texts.
